"Exploring American Culture: Diversity, Traditions and Global Impact"

On 8-10 May we are celebrating the International Week of ASE. Within this occasion we organised an event in collaboration with American Councils.
 
Our distinguished speakers, Bianca Joița and David Onica, American Councils Volunteers, presented the history, economy and traditions of the United States of America.

'The Role of Civic Engagement and Voting in Democracy'

 

On April 3rd, the event „The Role of Civic Engagement and Voting in Democracy” took place as part of the 4/4PentruPrieteni project, organized in partnership with the American Councils for International Education – Romania and the U.S. Embassy Bucharest.

We extend our sincere thanks to our guests: Iuniana Mîndru, program coordinator at American Councils; Alexandra, member of Europuls – European Expertise Center; and Professor Dumitru Borțun, PhD, from SNSPA.

We also express gratitude to the students who participated in the project for their demonstrated involvement and their desire to cultivate civic spirit.

'American Opportunities and Sustainable Development'

On 6th December, we had our first event at the Center for American Studies. Together with our partners, Flex, American Councils, UN Youth Delegate and the Academy of Sustainable Development, we spoke about various opportunities for young people in the context of sustainable development.

IndAgra’s US Trade Talks Forum for New Technologies for Agriculture

During the 25th – 29th of October we had the opportunity to participate at IndAgra’s US – Focused Show Area & IndAgra’s US Trade Talks Forum for Water & Food Security in Romania, Moldova & Ukraine.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIR) and the US Embassy in Romania organized, on Thursday, October 26, the “American Forum of Commercial Dialogues for Water and Food Security in Romania, Moldova and Ukraine”, an event organized on the sidelines of the Indagra 2023 fair.
