The workshop is recommended for students who have recently graduated or that soon will. We encourage & welcome the participation of students, who are interested in finding out:
- The differences between becoming an entrepreneur or being an employee.
- What fits their profile and what they should choose for themselves professionally.

Paul Andre Baran – Technology and Innovation Consultant of the Romanian American Foundation
Paul-Andre Baran is a Consultant for the Technology and Innovation priority of the Romanian-American Foundation, contributing to the strategic planning and coordination of programs in this area.
He studied political science at San Francisco State University and has 20 years of experience in democracy development programs that have spanned four continents. He spent six years as Director of Biblionet, a $26.9 million program funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation that provided free access to computers and the Internet through public libraries. As a result of Biblionet’s widespread impact, he was named Digital Champion of Romania at the European Commission.

Consultant, trainer, speaker and author of the book „Supercommunicator: Explaining Complicated Things So Everyone Can Understand”.
Specialized in communicating big ideas at a global level. He worked with tech startups, think tanks and large organizations, like NASA, to deliver impactful, meaningful messaging to make hard-to-understand concepts easier for influencers, publics and decision-makers.
The author of Washington Post bestseller “Supercommunicator: Explaining The Complicated So Anyone Can Understand” (AMACOM) which supplies time-tested communication tips, big digital era ideas, and real life examples to help anyone deliver clear, persuasive messages that win hearts, minds and budgets. He conduct full-day workshops based on my book and am also available as a keynote speaker.

Invitation to an online discussion on antisemitism and Holocaust
The Public Diplomacy Office of the U.S. Embassy in Bucharest sends its best regards and are inviting you to participate in an online discussion with Dr. Robert Williams, Deputy Director for International Affairs at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington. He serves in an advisory capacity to several international organizations on antisemitism and Holocaust issues, including the EU and UNESCO, but also governments of other countries, expert in streamlining the legislative and legal framework in this domain. Dr. Williams is on the steering committee of the Global Task Force on Holocaust Distortion, and he is currently overseeing a major international initiative that assesses the impact of Holocaust and genocide denial laws.
This virtual meeting with Dr. Williams is of great importance in the context of amplified efforts of Romanian authorities the introduction of education on Holocaust in schools and the development of Holocaust denial and distortion legislation. Thursday, 16th of December, at 16:00. Discussions will be held in English and the choice of platform will be Microsoft Teams.
